The Best Bully Sticks

Peanut LOVES bully sticks. The other dogs like them too but not as much. Peanut is a major chewer and if I don't have plenty of acceptable things for her to chew she goes for my shoes. Bully sticks are better for dogs than other chews such as raw hides. They are all natural dehydrated bull penis. Raw hide chews can be dangerous to dogs because they swallow it and it can swell in their stomachs and create a blockage. I recently started ordering the bully sticks online from Best Bully Sticks. Now I've ordered from them twice and both time the bully sticks were great quality, amazing price and shipped very quickly. They are at least 50% less expensive than the bully sticks I was buying at my local pet store.

Awesome Fido Fest!

2 Fast Fur U Flyball Team & Victoria Stilwell
Fido Fest on Sunday was an awesome time! I didn't see Victoria Stilwell's seminar but I did see her during the dog trick competition and she came to watch our flyball demo! This is the second annual Fido Fest at Boom Towne Canine Campus in Farmington and it is definately a huge improvement from last year. I am bias tho because this year Peanut was in the flyball demo.

Victoria was so nice to take pictures with us

Peanut's team mate Lou Bob was in the trick competition. He performed his trick "Getting Ready for Bed". His trick consisted of opening his night stand and taking out his blanket and teddy bear, turning out the light and closing the door. Lou Bob did great in front of the audience and won 4th place out of 10! The First place winner performed an excellent dance with her dog.

Dog Modeling Contest

Peanut and Bailey got their photos taken for a modeling contest! Peanut my fearless leader was terrified of the lights and camera equipment. We were only able to get a few pictures of her. Bailey did a little better. He is so photogenic to begin with. I can't wait to hear if Bailey makes the cut to be in the book. The photographer did awesome with both dogs, even tho Peanut kept trying to run away!

The best part is that the pictures were taken at Cialone Photography and there was no fee. If you brought in a 10 pound bag of dog food to be donated to Lollypop Farm the session was free and you receive one free photo.

Peta Ads

PETA - People for the ethical treatment of animals is an animal rights organization. While I don't always agree with what they do, they have awesome advertising campaigns. PETA ads are outrageous and eye catching. They definitely help to spread the word about very important topics concerning animal welfare.

City Solve Urban Race

Today was City Solve Urban Race in Rochester. The Lollypop Young Professionals helped organize run this event. It started off at Murphys Law and thats where me and the young professional volunteers set up our head quarters. This is the 5th time the race has visited Rochester. I was happily surprised at how many people braved the rainy weather today. About 180 people showed up which I think is a pretty good size for Rochester.

One of the best parts of the day was the costume contest!

The Pink Slips - Teachers do it with class!

The Winners! Team Hamburglers

The participants got the first clue in Murphys Law and then were off to find the first check in point with all of their clues. They had 7 places to find and have their pictures taken in front, they also had to spell out Rochester with their bodies in front of a local land mark and find a teeth whitening product. For bonus points they could bring back Rochester post cards or get one picture with a dog and a cat in it. Team Hamburglers ran the entire way and had the best time by far! I would guess at least 20 minutes.

Me & My Awesome Cazbah Volunteers!
I had an awesome time. I can't think of a more fun way to raise money for nonprofits. Thank you City Solve for choosing Lollypop Farm. I'm already looking forward to volunteering next year.
